Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Railway Board, Shri Vinay Kumar Tripathi, during his two-day visit to Varanasi, on 16 April, 2022 reviewed various under-going projects on North Eastern Railway and Northern Railway in Varanasi area. He went through the presentations about the progress of the ongoing doubling, electrification, yard remodeling, passenger amenities and other infrastructure works on Varanasi Division and gave instructions for speedy execution of the work with good quality. Shri Tripathi expressed happiness over the progress of the doubling work between Aunrihar and Chhapra. He further directed the railway officials to make necessary arrangements for permanent augumentation of coaches as per the demand of passangers. He also interacted with the representatives of the unions and took cognizance of their agenda and assured to resolve the issues.
