This project reminds us that although spatial habitus and territories have a patiently sedimented history, that history is not fixed. While remembering itself, the project is called upon to reinvent itself in new forms appropriate to the theme and the territory, and its strength lies in a form of typological research applied to the academic teaching space.Notable for its fundamental singularity, the building has a spatial signature that lies in a reversal, placing outside what is usually in the center, bringing people together in a way similar to an atrium or foyer of orthodox academic buildings. The project insists on the factual values of the device,in search of a working environment that favors interaction and stimulation.Making a major place for informal meeting spaces and autonomous spatial appropriations is a manifesto on the aims of academic teaching. Here, learning and research are primarily collective and collaborative activities.Or to describe it in a nutshell:a study climate.
