A blockade in the Meta province that hobbled Colombian production for the last week has been lifted, the provincial governor and a producer company said Wednesday. "The oil-field and transportation workers and the community in general in Puerto Gaitan have returned to normality after eight days of blockades," Meta Governor Juan Guillermo Zuluaga said on social media. "We respect the right to protest, but dialogue will always be better."
