IPL to End Manufacturing Operations At Gibson Island Fertilizer Plant Site

Victoria— Incitee Pivot Ltd. (IPL) has decided to discontinue fertilizer manufacturing operations at its site in Gibson Island, Australia, at the end of next year. The company, whose current natural gas feedstock supply arrangements will expire at the end of December 2022, has not been able to secure an economically viable long-term gas supply to the facility, despite "extensive" efforts, IPL noted. Around 170 employees will be impacted.
