Today the internet has become a fundamental need of every person. For task completion, people employ wired or wireless networks. Users who benefit from faster wireless networks are proportionally fewer in number. Even while Wi-Fi can deliver speeds of up to 150 mbps, this is still not enough to support several users at once. The development of a Li-Fi-based system and an assessment of its performance in relation to current technology are the main topics of this article, light-emitting diodes (LEDs), which will be utilized more and more in lighting technologies, will also make it possible to distribute broadband optical wireless signals. White LED-based visible-light communication (VLC) has several benefits over RF-based wireless systems, including a license-free spectrum, reduced power consumption, and more privacy.
