摘要

Cancellation of self interference (SI) is an importanttechnology in order for wireless communication systemdevices to perform full-duplex communication. In this paper, wepropose a novel self-interference cancellation using null beamformingto be applied entire IEEE 802.11 frame including thelegacy part for full-duplex wireless communication on CooperativeMIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output). We evaluate theSI cancellation amount by the proposed method using a fieldprogrammable gate array (FPGA) and software defined radio(SDR), and show the experimental results. In the experiment, itis confirmed that the amount of SI cancellation by the proposedmethod was at least 18 dB. The SI cancellation amount can befurther potentiated with more accurate CSI(channel state information)by increasing the transmission power. It is shown thatSI can be suppressed whole frame which includes legacy preamblepart. The proposed method can be applied to next generationwireless communication standards as well.
