The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission set a hearing for Pacific Gas and Electric’s proposal that would allow the utility to provide interim electric service to San Francisco’s legacy unmetered points of delivery until the commission ruled on a separate dispute involving the parties. The commission accepted the proposed revisions to be effective July 12, as requested, and set hearing and settlement judge procedures after determining that the proposal had not been shown to be just and reasonable and may be unlawful, according to an Aug. 2 order (ER22-2022). Both San Francisco and PG&E had supported the proposed revisions to PG&E’s wholesale distribution tariff and agreed to them.
