Argentina is on track to increase oil exports to 200,000 b/d in 2026 from about 40,000 b/d this year, as infrastructure capacity is built to accompany a surge in production in the Vaca Muerta shale play, Neuquén Governor Omar Gutiérrez said late Nov. 29. The first capacity to come on line will be a 110,000-115,000 b/d pipeline to Chile, he said in press conference, according to a recording of his remarks.
