Lukoil’s Nizhny Novgorod restarts coker

Lukoil has restarted the 6,030 t/d delayed coker (DCU) at its 365,000 b/d Nizhny Novgorod refinery. The unit was shut down on 7 February after a fire and remained off line for 18 days. Petroleum coke production dropped by 32,400t and clean products output by 97,200t last month because of the shut-down, a source familiar with Nizhny Novgorod operations says.
