You hardly need me to say that the situation is changing on a daily basis, rendering anything I might write here immediately out-of-date. But COVID-19 has had, and will continue to have, an impact. Already, as we go to press, airshows had been cancelled and museums and archives closed. It is inevitable that more will follow, and probably for several months yet. Even if restrictions are gradually lifted, it will be hard to plan ahead. A large number of organisations and individuals will be affected. The financial implications are serious. Many will, at best, feel the pinch.
