When the hospital social worker called and said she had a patient who lived on top of Campbell's Mountain, I was a little apprehensive. It was a long way from civilization, and the road wasn–t much more than a cowpath. But when she said there was no phone and that the old lady was in the habit of taking occasional “pot-shots”at strangers with an old sawed-off shotgun, I knew I didn't like the sound of this case at all!
