The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight's Chipmunk T10 WG486 is undergoing major servicing with the Aircraft Restoration Company at Duxford. The 1952-built trainer - one of two used by the flight for conversion and continuation training of BBMF fighter pilots on tailwheel aircraft - will have the current standard RAF training scheme of black with white stripes replaced with a more attractive livery that it wore 35 years ago when it was in service with the Bristol University Air Squadron at Filton.
