Syngenta has launched its soil mapping and sampling service, Interra Scan, in the Netherlands and Belgium. In the former, the service will initially be offered through a limited number of distributors, while in Belgium, growers can register for a scan. Syngenta unveiled Interra Scan in September last year. The business describes the product as possessing “the world’s highest-resolution soil mapping services”. It offers soil mapping of up to 27 layers of information, which helps growers understand the texture, nutrient, and carbon content of their soil. The data enable users to “optimize nutrition and carbon capture”, says Syngenta.
