German utility Uniper reached an agreement to sell its UAEbased Uniper Energy DMCC to a consortium of Montfort Group and the private office of a Dubai sheikh. The purchase, including a Fujairah crude oil processing refinery and marine fuel trading business, is expected to be completed in the next few months, Uniper said in a Feb. 16 statement on its website. Montfort became a licensed bunker supplier at the Port of Fujairah on the UAE's east coast in 2021.
