It is hard to put a cost on CCS because it's not one technology. It is bound to be expensive to process 2,500 parts of air to capture 1 part of CO2 (400 ppm). The best, most efficient and cheapest type of CCS is to capture the CO2 at the highest possible concentration, pre-combustion, ideally by auto-thermal reforming of methane using "waste" oxygen produced during the electrolytic production of hydrogen.
