Buenos Aires-Argentina plans to hold a tender this year for a $500 million-$600 million project to extend a railway to Vaca Muerta with the aim of cutting production costs at the country's biggest shale play, a senior government official said Wednesday. The tender should be called by December, Guillermo Dietrich, the national minister of transport, said on the sidelines of the Financial Times Commodities Americas Summit in Buenos Aires. “The project should take three years,” he said.
