SUMMARYThe writing of thirty‐five school children suffering from depressive disease was examined for rotational errors when writing words containing spatially confusable letters. All except eight received treatment with antidepressant drugs. Of the fifteen children who improved clinically as the result of drug therapy, only one was found to make rotational errors on re‐examination.
