AbstractImmediately following a double‐toe transfer to her hand, a 40‐year‐old woman developed a severe migraine headache unrelieved by narcotics. Medical consultation was obtained, and available medical treatments were discussed in relation to their possible effects on the patient's recent microvascular procedure. Intravenous steroids were administered, with resolution of the headache.
