Having been withdrawn from the flying fleet at the beginning of 2019, the Shuttleworth Collection's authentic Bristol F2B Fighter has received some much-needed attention over the past year and will emerge with a new look. The World War One-era two-seater had seen a busy period of display activity thanks to the centenary commemorations around both the end of the First World War and the establishment of the RAF, which resulted in a decision being made to delay a timely re-covering. Last refurbished in the early 1980s, the 'Brisfit' was moved into the workshop to be stripped down for a full assessment in early 2019.
