The US drilling rig count has gradually rebounded from last year's lows as commodity prices have strengthened.And while the Permian Basin remains the nation's drilling powerhouse,operators in lesser shale areas have also seen an uptick in drilling activity.Consultancy Enverus noted a few weeks ago that multiple"under-the-radar"plays,such as the Oklahoma Granite Wash,the Uinta Basin in Utah,and the East Texas Eaglebine play have been quietly picking up rigs alongside the rise in West Texas Intermediate(WTI)oil prices.
