EU Agrees Additional Sanctions Against Russia

The EU has agreed to an 11th package of sanctions targeting Russia over its war in Ukraine, despite pushback from member states onsome of the provisions. The bloc had initially hoped to announce the new measures to coincide with May's G7 summit in Japan , but haggling delayed theprocess for more than a month.
