A safety joint venture first

Yokogawa Electric has entered into business collaboration negotiations with Drager Safety to extend Foundation fieldbus benefits to safety functions,both for central and remote/distributed facilities.This joint effort will include development of the world's first Foundation fieldbus fire and gas alarm system,consisting of Yokogawa's network-based control system and Drager's detection devices.
