摘要

The dielectric and optical properties of pure poly (3-hydroxybutyrate) and ZnO nanoparticle (15-30%)-reinforced poly (3-hydroxybutyrate) composite films were studied. Nanocomposites exhibit improved relative permittivity (epsilon' = 4.6720 @ 1 GHz) with acceptable loss tangent (tan delta < 0.02) which is greater than that of FR4 substrate (epsilon' = 4.5). High absorption in ultraviolet region (200-400 nm) was observed for the nanocomposites. From the observation, the prepared biobased composites can be used as a dielectric substrate for microwave applications and coating material for light-emitting diode encapsulation to block ultraviolet rays and to develop ultraviolet-resistive fabrics for textile industry.
