Indonesia’s gasoline imports are expected to increase further in the lead-up to Ramadan in late March following a fatal fire at a state-owned Pertamina fuel storage unit, market sources said March 6. The fire at the Plumpang Jakarta Integrated Terminal March 3 affected about 106,000 mt (around 895,700 barrels) of gasoline and 59 mt (around 443 barrels) of gasoil, according to an industry source with close knowledge of the matter.
