Austria's OMV says it does not want a stake in Gazprom's Achimov 4A/5A gas and condensate project.And Germany's Wintershall Dea has decided to pursue no new upstream developments in Russia and will stop all planning for new projects.OMV's executive board has"decided to not further pursue negotiations"with Gazprom for a 24.98pc share in the Achimov 4A/5A development at the 1.8 trillion m~3 Urengoi field in western Siberia and will terminate a preliminary agreement reached in October 2018.OMV has a 24.99pc stake in the 25bn m~3/yr Severneftegazprom joint venture with Gazprom developing the 367bn m~3 South Russkoye field-Wintershall has a 34.99pc shareholding.
