Interventionless well completion

Halliburton's Energy Services Group has completed its first project in Qatar's North field using the company's interventionless Hydrostatic-Set Permanent Production Packer.Data from field trials and actual operator use indicate that the Hydrostatic-Set Packer,part of Halliburton's Diamond Series of interventionless completion system solutions,lowers completion costs through reduced rig time.In addition,as the technology uses available hydrostatic pressure and minimises wellbore intervention,the risk of damage to the well is lessened and safety improved.
