Sealants and adhesives based on silane-terminated polymers have been used for many years in an enormous variety of elastic sealing and adhesive applications.In the last few years, in fact, interest in silane-terminated polyurethanes (STP) has increased even further because they combine the strengths of two classes of materials. On the one hand, they boast the exceptional versatility of polyurethane chemistry, and on the other, they offer the extremely effective crosslinking reactivity of silane chemistry.
