Improvement of Recognition Performance for the Fuzzy ARTMAP Using Average Learning and Slow Learning

摘要

A new learning method is proposed to enhance the performances ofthe fuzzy ARTMAP neural network in the noisy environment, It combinesthe average learning and slow learning for the weight vectors in thefuzzy ARTMAP. It ef- fectively reduces a category proliferationproblem and enhances recognition performance for noisy inputpatterns.
