Cash-strapped Sapura Energy has received approval from a court in Kuala Lumpur to consider and approve an arrangement scheme with its creditors as part of its debt restructuring plan. The Malaysian engineering and construction player said the "High Court of Malaya at Kuala Lumpur has granted orders to the company and 22 of its wholly-owned subsidiaries" to move ahead with the compromise plan.
