The synergistic principles underpinning technologies for differing materials is highlighted by the presence of major players in synthetic fibers and nonwovens production technologies at the forthcoming K show, which will take place in Duesseldorf, Germany, from October 19-26, 2022. The primary focus of K is on technologies for the plastics and rubber industries and with approximately 3,000 exhibitors from 61 countries, it will occupy Diisseldorf Exhibition Centre in its entirety. The event celebrates its 70th anniversary this year, having made its debut as a public event in October 1952 - "Wunder der Kunststoffe" (Miracles of Plastics) -profiling the goods of 270 exhibiting companies exclusively from Germany. This premiere drew 165,000 visitors to marvel at the colorful consumer goods exhibited by plastics processors of the time, primarily aimed at the "modern housewife" with kitchenware, PVC raincoats and sheer nylon stockings hailed as the aesthetic epitome of Germany's "Economic Miracle."
