Help Wanted.Now Hiring.These signs have become part of the landscape at many busineBes acroB the country as companies struggle to fill open positions.The obstacles go beyond finding quality employees;many busineBes are having a difficult time just finding people to fill job openings.One data point the U.S.Bureau of Labor Statistics gathers is number of unemployed persons per job opening.When that number is above one,there are more unemployed persons than there are jobs available.Since June 2021,that number has been below one,indicating there are more job openings than unemployed persons to fill those spots.At the end of 2021,there were 10.6 million available jobs but only 6.9 million unemployed persons to fill those spots.
