Comparative analysis of variational iteration method and Haar wavelet method for the numerical solutions of Burgers-Huxley and Huxley equations

摘要

In this paper, variational iteration method is applied to compute the numerical solutions of non-linear partial differential equations like Huxley and Burgers- Huxley equation. The approximate solutions of the Huxley and Burgers-Huxley equations are compared with the Haar wavelet solution as well as with the exact solutions. The present method is very simple, effective and convenient analytical method with small computational overhead.
