Towards a model and algorithm management system for vehicle routing and scheduling problems

We outline a system for supporting the modeling of physicaldistribution situations and the selection or construction ofalgorithms for their solution. The system will incorporate thecurrent knowledge and expertise in vehicle routing. Its maincontribution will be in the design and implementation of techniquesfor representing and manipulating this knowledge.
