Zhejiang Hualian Sunshine Petrochemical and Zhejiang Zongheng Textile Group are to jointly pursue a purified terephthalic acid(PTA)project in China.Hualian Sunshine is building its first PTA plant in Binhai Industrial Zone,Shaoxing,Zhejiang,China.The company aims to supply the 600 000 tonne/year project with feedstock at end-2004 and bring the plant into production in Ql 2005(ACN 6 September 2004).
