THE DESIGNERS of a device to track divers who get into difficulties at sea has won a contest established in memory of an IET member who died in an underwater accident. The DiveTrack competition, supported by the IET and the British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC), was set up by Fiona Denny in memory of her sister Penny Glover, a satellite communications engineer who died in a diving accident in 2005. Her body, along with that of her diving 'buddy' Jacques Filippi, was discovered after seven weeks.
