Judge slams delivery firm's 'cut and paste' risk assessment

Delivery firm David Watson Transport has been fined ?150,000 after it failed to prevent the death of an employee who fell while delivering a generator on a flatbed lorry. Sandra Dias, the HSE's investigating inspector, said David Watson Transport had classed the delivery to Hertfordshire Golf and Country Club as an "emergency" rather than planned work because the company was required to deliver the generator to the site within three and a half hours of a request.
