The Role of the Specific Surface Area of an Adsorbent in the Optimization of Mixture Separation Conditions in Thin-Layer Chromatography

The very important aspect of effect of the magnitude of specific surface area on RMvalues obtained by using TLC method is presented. In experiments were performed on 4 adsorbents of different specific surface areas 50 – 500 m2/g and with mixed binary mobile phases.
