In this report, reflecting the results of analyses based on vehicle motion measurements, we propose the migration model in which the migration speed of the terminals is determined by the area. This model represents the characteristics of the vehicle motion in which the speed falls in the limited area, for example near the station. In this model, the number of dwell terminals and traffic in a cell greatly differ between the areas of cells. Using this migration model, we evaluate the blocking rates in the circuit switching networks and the transmission rates per terminal in the packet switching networks.
