On June 18, the UK's Military Low Flying System welcomed a pair of French Air Force Dassault Mirage 2000Ds (615/3-JY and 679/3-JX) from EC 02.003 'Champagne' conducting low-level navigation sorties from their home base of Nancy-Ochey Air Base in France's northeast. Initially operating in Low Flying Area (LFA) 7 in Wales, the jets were refuelled by an RAF Airbus KC.2 Voyager ZZ336 (operating as Tartan 58'),close to the Isle of Man in Air-to-Air Refuelling Areas 13, before dropping into LFA17 in the Lake District. From there, they returned to Nancy-Ochey via LFA 7. Both jets were recently noted with EC 02.003's SPA75 'Aigle Egyptien'.
