In October 1967, Weatherwise magazine ran an article entitled, "Meteorology at Lakeland High School," about an advanced high school Weather Club, which was located in Shrub Oak, New York. To the thrill and pride of members of that club, the cover showcased them working on their "weather board." For some, that long ago experience might be a great high school memory. For others, that club profoundly changed their lives. And so, 55 years later, let's revisit this weather club and some of its members.
