THE LATEST MODEL of the pocket-sized BBC Micro:bit computer was unveiled this month, and is set to be handed out to around one million children in the UK in order to boost digital literacy. The single-board microcomputer is equipped with processors, sensors, a programmable array of red LED lights as well as two buttons and a built-in motion sensor that were not included in the prototype revealed back in March.
