As for production of laser processing machines for thin plates in Japan in fiscal 2021,it appears that fiber laser processing machines increased 14% year on year to 1,585 units and C02 laser processing machines declined 1.8% to 520 units.Fiber lasers recovered positive growth for the first time in four years due to greater application of subsidies and more investments by users related to electronics.It is thought that the CO2 laser market saw a further shift to fiber lasers,but in combination with replacement demand from previous users,the market ended the year with a minor decline.
