Martin Temple, the former chair of manufacturers' organisation EEF, has been appointed to lead the HSE board. The appointment marks a two-way job swap, as former chair Judith Hackitt took on Temple's former role at the EEF on 4 April. Temple, who started on 1 May, has more than 30 years' experience in private and public sector roles, including senior positions at the Sheffield Hospital Trust and manufacturing firm the 600 Group. But he is best known in the sector for leading the HSE's triennial review.
