Prices rose as the US prepared to start refilling strategic reserves and China and India competed for potentially dwindling Russian supplies. Atlantic basin crude marker North Sea Dated was up by $4.29/bl to $85.21/bl in the week to 2 March, US marker April WTI rose by $2.77/bl to $78.16/bl, while Mideast Gulf benchmark May Dubai climbed by $3.66/bl to $83.33/bl.
