As autumn gives way to winter, graphics card vendors who announced new products at the Siggraph conference last summer are hastening to ship those boards before the last leaves fall from the trees. Among these vendors are 3Dlabs, with additions to its Oxygen line and a new technology for its high-end Wildcat boards. (3Dlabs recently acquired Wildcat vendor Intense3D, now known as the Wildcat division of 3Dlabs.) Other vendors issuing new products are Elsa, with the Gloria III and the Synergy III, and graphics chipset supplier Nvidia, whose Quadro2 Pro and Quadro2 MXR cards are the OEM counterparts to Elsa's. These cards represent Nvidia's first foray into the board-making business. And the newly formed FGL Graphics, S3's graphics arm since the demise of Diamond Multimedia (see "In Brief" item opposite), has introduced the Fire GL2 and GL3 cards.
