Picking a manual handling trainer is often driven by price and the location of the course, or the trainer's willingness to go to the trainees' workplace. What is more important, but surprisingly less often verified, is: whether the trainer has a teaching qualification and the skills, knowledge and experience to deliver the session. There is no register of manual handling trainers you can consult so, as in many areas of procurement, it's a case of buyer beware.
