Time‐dose‐response relationships of pyrethroid insecticides with special reference to knockdown

AbstractThe relationship between incoordination, knockdown and mortality was investigated by following the course of poisoning inSchistocerca gregariaof two synthetic pyrethroids, bioresmethrin and bioallethrin. Kinetics describing theonset of these responses as a function of dose are interpreted in terms of the dynamics of penetration and detoxication. The possibility of the same site of action for knockdown and kill is briefly discussed.
