Solvay partners Brazilian university to develop biological products

Belgian chemical company Solvay(Brussels)has partnered with the Brazilian University of Sao Paulo to develop bioinsecticides,biofungicides,bionematicides and inoculants.The business plans to”capitalize”on Brazil’s position as a”frontrunner”in biologicals.Solvay notes that the University will provide expertise in biopesticides,bioprocesses and agronomic applications,while the company will contribute its knowledge in formulations for the agricultural sector,with surfactants,polymers,carriers and innovative additives.
