摘要

Data Acquisition System is developed for automating the calibration procedure of Coaxial Microcalorimeter, which is a primary RF Power standard in the frequency range of 10 MHz to 18 GHz. It also makes calibration of power standards faster and more accurate through GPIB cables using IEEE-488 interface card. The software for this system is developed using the VEE Pro application, which is a graphical programming environment optimized for use with electronic instruments. The program enables the computer to continuously acquire the raw data from the electronic equipments, display it as a graph in a real time environment and save it in a tabular form. Developing this system minimizes human involvement and therefore reduces the chances of errors. It eliminates the need to record the reading manually or perform any cryptic and error-prone steps like preprocessing, compiling, or linking to run the software.
