Recruitment and derecruitment of human biceps brachii muscle during isovelocity movements

摘要

The purpose of this study is to confirm Recruitment and Derecruitment of motor unit (MU)s during isovelocity movements in the human biceps brachii muscle. The behaviors of MUs during movements could be recongnized by decomposing the electromyogram (EMG) into each MU action potential (MUAP)s. The multi-channel surface electrode was developed for measuring the EMGs. Surface EMGs were recorded from the m.biceps brachii of 3 normal subjects with isovelocity, and decomposed. As a result, It was confirmed that 36 MUs were recruited, 22 MUs were derecruited
